Synopsis of the video
In the initial scene of the video there is flash clip there is a group of young adults that are chilling in front of a house-that are having a humours debate about if the protagonist can get the video girls number or not. therefore, this connates a potential storyline for the video (boy meets girl). Moreover, this demonstrates that the video is going to be narrative based showing the potential relationship. The male protagonist is has a clear representation of a young adult from canada because of the dialect; such as, "tunt up" and "lit" that he uses to describe a party that he may have met the girl at. Also, how he is dressed in youthful and has clear "swag" and confidence.
furthermore, the video shows a series of clips to set a atmosphere and surroundings. The video is quite typical for this genre of music because of the clear different representations. however, the only differences in the narrative is that can be seen as conceptual because there are too girls in the love triangle.
Is the video conceptual, narrative or performance based?
I believe that the video is person is showing a narrative based video
Theme and motifs
the theme is of a american area like a small block where everyone around a similar age group hangs around.
they continue to use the theme of him being young and rich, through the way he dresses and the car that he drives. this symbolises that he has confident personality and connates that he is trying to impress the girl.
Representation of stars/artistes including authorize
the artist is represented to be young this is conveyed through the custom which is very bright yet causal, when he was being introduced to the girl and when he is taking her out. Also, it conveys the genre of urban through the long hemed tops and ripped jeans and how he wears his "snapback". also, he is demonstrated to be popular and influential to the younger people in the audience
There is a use of lip syncing but yet in a majority of the video they are most acting and carrying out the narrative of a romance

Same applies, this is performance and narrative this time. Lots to say on mise-en-scene, so props, locations, costume, lighting and then camera techniques and editing (pace, cut to beat etc). Link to your work. Add stills to help make points.
