Concept of the shoot
I inversion a very high energy shot due to the fact the video was performed based. However, I want to use a black backdrop so the I can use a fill light to make Jessie standout against such a harsh background colour. I will take a variety of medium to close up because that is the conventional shot types of these types of print products. This will be effective for my target audience because they can relate to the miss-en-scene of clothing that Jessie may be wearing because is very common and directly targeted toward them.

Inspiration

Double exposure album covers

Image result for double exposure album coverImage result for double exposure album cover

These album covers are inspiration to the album cover i hope to create because, they have a doubled exposure which is compatible because i hope to convey african culture through the images i use in the creation of the album. Also, it will work well with a cityscape, however i will try and incorporate more of the artist features and more vibrant colour palette.

editing schedule

this is the editing schedule to book your hard drive and
organise when your group can meet

Due to our editing for our music videos being saved on a hard drive which is shared amongst other classes we have to book time within our groups to organise our availability of when we could edit the video,

Rough screening feedback

Today in class my group presented our music video rough cut , in which we was given feedback on the classes opinions of what they thought of our music video.

In the beginning of this feedback video, a member of the group outlines(sephora) explains why we had failed to add much lip sync in our clips,to explain why there is limited footage that is shown

Below is the positive feedback outlined :

- They enjoyed the edit of flipping between black and white to colour
- Positive use of colours and lighting in graffiti shots
- enjoyed the song
- "It was really good"
- Good performance

Negatives

- sticking to our original ideas that we had previously pitched
- use a variation of dancers to perform and learn a dance
- Not alot of time left to edit and film
- Add more effects between shots
-better lighting -keep it simple

The feedback was very useful and we all really appreciate the feedback when we completing are final filming also, useful when doing the editing process. this is direct feedback from our target audience age range, therefore, we could analyze what exactly we are missing.

what I achieved by end of today's lesson

I went on youtube and looked on most of my recent afrobeats history, i did this because i wanted to get current artist. Rather than an older one because it will be less relevant, especially because the song I produced is modern and current.

I then searched for different artist that had print adverts and CD, this was difficult because most younger audience do not release albums especially when they are not signed by major record companies
